Update on life: July 2013

So firstly.. I DID IT. IN ALL THOSE FACES WHO LAUGHED AT ME AND SAY I CAN NEVER GET IT WAHAHAHAHA Okay so you're now probably thinking "so what?" Yeah. It's not much of a big deal anyway. BUT I DID IT Okay so the officially most hated day of the week is Wednesday. Where I have to wake up at 7am and drag my heavy ass to advanced math class. At first I thought that I needed the "edge" in my diploma, since I didn't have a cca and shit. But then I realised.. will it really make a difference? Even if I get to skip the math module in uni, will it be good/bad (if you can score well in it, it would've been wasted)? And a hell lot of brain space wasted. So I'm just gonna bet on last-minute revision to even pass the module. Not intending to risk my core modules for that one... Most of my projects down. Almost all of them are done last minute :D We even "tonned" in NP one night to complete the design project. And before tha...

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151504834032934  OKAY OKAY WTF AND AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A LIMITED EDITION PLUSH TOY *with reference to the video above* So this faggot has been complaining NON-STOP to the poor McD manager just because the number of fucking plushies he can buy is reduced from 4 to 2. Okay. So.. YOU CAN STILL FUCKING GET IT. YOU'RE BETTER OFF THAN A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE WHO QUEUED LONGER THAN YOU AND CAN'T GET IT AT ALL. You demand an explanation for this? YOU'RE A FUCKING GROWN UP AND YOU'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT LITTLE STUFF LIKE THIS? Or the fact that each of them is actually worth a few thousands of dollars? Complaining over your petty little earnings? Acting all gangster and shit? I doubt imbecile morons like you even have a proper job. PLEASE LAH. Even if they ARE WORTH a few thousands of dollars, the manager at mac definitely don't deserve your fucking little rants. THEY HAVE A WHOLE LOT OF YOU FUCKERS TO DEAL WITH, IF I W...

NVM 2013 - Not quite what I expected

Image
Awesome morning spent participating in the National Vertical Marathon with Qunhan and Mingwei!! Woke up at 6am after spending the night at Mingwei's house.. Playing Maplestory till 1am LOL I shall not go too much into it.. Took the MRT to Raffles Place, where we almost got lost trying to locate the Asia Square building (have you guys even heard of this place before?). Reached the building, at first it was pretty intimidating... Like, "shit, am I really gonna climb this hell of a building". I put that aside later, it didn't really bother me much. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME ANYWAY Registration was pretty smooth, I can see that the event's pretty well planned :) They even gave us a funny lotion that is said to reduce muscle fatigue. It worked later on, but I know that the fatigue WILL come in sooner or later (I'm feeling it right now). Waited for quite a while for our wave to start.. -STARTING POINT- So as to prevent human congestion, the participants are ...

My bucket list

Image
I owe you guys a big one for not updating for 2 weeks. Since there's nothing much happening in my life, here it is. my bucket list. I'll start with the things I have already achieved first (usually stuff I wished for when I was a kid). 1. OWN A NINTENDO DS (and play Pokemon) [ACHIEVED] - My love for Pokemon started when I was playing the emulated version of Red and Blue (you read it right, RED AND BLUE) on my Nokia phone (smartphones were non-existent back then). Raising virtual midgets and battling with them was really fun. Unknowingly, I spent many hours into the game, and soon I desired even better versions of the game. My very first console game (on my GBA) was a second hand FireRed version. I eventually got enough money to buy the DS for myself, and yeah.. still having fun with my Pokemon LOL 2. OWN A SHOULDER-LENGTH NERF BLASTER [ACHIEVED] - When I was young, my mother usually let me go around the mall by myself when we went out shopping for stuff. I spe...

unintentionally

PONNED 2 LESSONS OF IDEA BURDEN UNINTENTIONALLY. Everyone wasn't having classes and had to do "field work" for the presentation next week. Well, almost everyone. I just found out that I HAD TO ATTEND CLASSES today, so it turns out that I have already skipped 2 out of the 4 lessons of Idea Burden (Blueprint). That makes 50% attendance. I'm screwed. and I can't skip any more lessons now. and I think I'm gonna screw up the presentation. GOOD THING IT'S ONLY A PASS/FAIL MODULE. Advanced math tomorrow morning. Wednesdays (and Tuesdays) have officially became Mondays.

MapleStory Season 2: Not so impressive after all

Image
Hi guys. For those of you who are thinking of going back to Mapling for the "brand new season", I hope my little write-up coming up will keep you a little more informed of what's happening, before using up an hour to re-download the game. So.. The long awaited MapleStory Season 2. tbh, I actually stayed up till 12am on the release date to patch my current version, but the auto-patcher screwed up and.. I ended up playing the next day anyway(patcher screwed up after a delay of 4.5 hours for the server maintenance). After I logged in, there wasn't much of a change in the menu.. And a few minutes into the game, I realised that there wasn't MUCH OF A CHANGE AT ALL (visually). Some notable in-game changes: - Job advancement level changes (60 for 3rd job, 100 for 4th job) - Secondary stat requirement for all equipments removed - Major skill reorganisation - Item drop rate adjusted, to sky high levels - Item selling rate to NPCs reduces drastically - NPCs n...

RUN 350: A brand new experience.

Image
Woke up at 4am in the morning today for the annual RUN350 10km event, with Mingwei. This being my very first running event, I was reluctant to sign up for it (at first), and was rather nervous when the day of the run was approaching. What if I get an asthma attack? If I die, will anyone take care of my Pokemon? (HAHAHA jk) But I kept telling myself, if I don't seek to improve myself, I'll be letting my medical condition burden me forever. So I took this challenge. 10km may not seem like much, but it's actually quite a big step I'll be taking :) Took the shuttle bus from Yishun to the Esplanade and CBD area. The morning breeze at that area was indeed refreshing :) We went to queue up at the starting line a little earlier, but I guess it's worth it, only to see the few thousands of people gathering behind us.. It started to drizzle a bit, but it died down soon after that so I'm pretty thankful. 20 minutes of waiting passed really quickly and s...
