5 weeks passed really REALLY quickly. Looking back, I remember how hesitant I was with regards to going for this trip. Whether or not will I be able to put everything aside for 5 weeks.. And right now, I'm already starting to miss my life in Tianjin. Annoying roommate who can't wake up despite 3 alarms ringing... All of my closest poly mates just living next door... Ridiculously cheap and yet ridiculously huge portions of food... Those nights we spend playing cards/talking crap/smoking and drinking till late... Washing your own underwear (damn)... Comfy and snuggly bed... Oh well, they say all good things come to an end, I'm just really glad I went for this trip. Although there were a little conflicts here and there... It was an amazing 5 weeks, which I will definitely not forget. Now let the pictures do the talking~ (Only going through the more 'important' stuff) Shopping at Ying Kou Dao [aka Orchard Road of Tianjin] Tianjin had a metro system t...
It's been a while since I updated my blog. Like 6 freaking months. I don't wanna seem less like I'm "talking to myself", and since I've already put my mind of those useless emotional stuff I shall dedicate this place to only reviews. Like, reviews of good food I eat, good games I play, and etc. And maybe some insights of my life that you guys don't wanna hear about. Just maybe. Okay guys so.. CRUSADERS QUEST. Just recently got into this RPG since Brave Frontier devs fail at maintaining the server. And I must say.. It's pretty damn good. But unlike up-to-date HD graphics that will ultimately suck your battery dry, this game uses freaking 8-bit characters and worlds. That's right. 8-bits. ALTHOUGH this may not sound very impressive to the modern gamer, this game manages to put everything together so ni...
What got me back into this site?? The sudden need to just draft out my experiences in text. 2017 was one hell of a rollercoaster ride and also the starting point of my career. Whether or not I'll be a soldier until I die... that's another story. But heck, let's just get on to it. January Commissioned as a fresh and dumb 2LT (2nd Lieutenant) just around a month ago, and posted into 38 SCE (Singapore Combat Engineers) not knowing what the hell to expect. My life tempo really didn't change much, I was still staying in from Monday to Friday, I'm still doing duties (albeit a different kind of duty this time) and.. kind of still ending "work" only in the night. (I signed on so I really shouldn't complain) Eventually got posted into Bravo Company. The fun starts there. February One of my first tasking in the unit was to become the Programme OIC for Milestone Parade. I did a bunch of stuff like liaising with external contractors, m...
