Potato

Today is "human day" (translated from chinese?), so my family and I went for a "lao yu sheng" session and dinner. Quite a rare occasion, my family HARDLY goes out to eat together. But still, my older sis wasn't there. I can imagine how awkward the table will be with my father and my older sis... But anyway, we didn't really talk much (not like we have lots of catching up to do), so it's still.. Yeah. Quiet as always.. And we went home after that and I played Blackshot with some 41 peeps and it was mighty fun and blahblahblahblahblah JAE results awaits tomorrow. I seriously wonder where I will end up at. :\ I wonder where my initial motivation went. It's not that I don't want to do anything, I don't know what the fuck I SHOULD be doing! Every night at ntuc fairprice (when it's near to closing time), the aunties will have to round up all the veggies in baskets so they can be stored in the chiller and will not go rotten. So today night, one of the aunties was rounding up the veggies but she unknowingly blocked a small passageway. An impatient customer was waiting for the pathway to be cleared, oblivious to how busy that auntie was. Plus, she could have just walked a small round to get pass it. Idk what sorta happened between that, but the customer kinda squeezed through the tiny passageway and started complaining to the auntie. The auntie was making her stand, saying that she was busy with the veggies and moving the trolley will be quite a hassle (it's true). FINALLY a 2 day off after working for like 9 days (plus) in a row... With 8 to 12 hour shifts here and there.. Seriously drained off all my energy. But the work experience at the mandarin orange corner at Fairprice was indeed.... Rewarding, I'd say (not just in terms of cash). LOL Forged new friendships... Revived old friendships... Worked for all kinds of customers (the picky ones and the not-so-picky ones). And of course, increased "experience of a working life". Although I DOUBT I will get such a boring (repetitively selling oranges) job in the future... But who knows what may happen... Like how my emaths turned out to be a B3. Life sure is unpredictable. My results ain't as good as I expected.. Still can't get over the fact that I got a B3 for emaths. But at least, it's over. I can't get into Aerospace Electronics at NP, so I guess I'll be going to SP.. No doubt that I'm gonna miss all my friends. Thanks to all the teachers that cheered me up when I was 'almost breaking into tears' at the hall just now, Mr Tan SH, Mr Tan WH, Mr Chio and maybe some others.. And my friends who said stuff like "it's gonna be alright" and etc.. Well, I really hope so. At least I think I'm alright now. Hope my next three years go smoothly.

I'm not as good as everyone says I am. In terms of attitude and etc. Just 1 mistake can prove so many things. Good luck to those taking their O Level results tomorrow.

Sad new year. My first payslip is only the $$ I earned for working for 5-6 days (I think). $238 won't last me long... But anyway.. Enjoyed my fair share of LAN this morning and spending money in the afternoon. It's gonna be quite some time until I get to spend time (and money) with my friends again... Busy Friday and Saturday coming up (CCA orientation). I have a harder time trying to rearrange my schedule with my team leader than actually worrying for the event itself. But it's settled, and I'm gonna work in the morning this Friday and the whole of next week (there is a parade I'm involved in too). So yeah... pain in the ass. I was this close to resigning...
